General
Skilled Nursing: General
skilled nursing care that is provided by registered
nurses and licensed practical nurses who assess the
appropriateness of home health care including the family
and home environment for clients, and perform clinical
procedures and instruct the client and family regarding
necessary treatments. Clients receiving this care
typically include stabilized post-operative clients in
recovery at home clients who are acutely ill but who do
not require hospitalization and clients who are
chronically or terminally ill.

Physical
Therapy: These services may
include: gait training using various assistive devices,
therapeutic exercises designed to strengthen and improve
joint range of motion or to prevent joint contractures
due to muscular disease, ultrasound therapy, client
education in transfer techniques and use of adaptive
equipment, such as wheelchairs and hoyer lifts, and
instructing clients and caregivers on long-term exercise
programs.

Therapy: Speech
therapy services assist the client in developing
effective communication skills using various adaptive
methods, the management of swallowing deficits, and can
provide training on improving oral motor control and
functioning.

Occupational
Therapy: Occupational therapy
services include evaluation of the client's functional
abilities, teaching of task-oriented therapeutic
activities to restore physical function, teaching
activities of daily living and energy conservation to
improve a client's level of independence, and
instruction on the use of self -help devices.

Social Service: Social
workers provide assistance to obtain necessary resources
that allows clients to maintain an optimal status of
health in the home setting, Social Workers also provide
long-range planning to assist the client and family with
an adequate in-home setting, and arranging for care
alternatives if necessary.

Health Aides: Home health aide
care involves basic client care from taking temperatures
an blood pressure to assisting with daily living
activities. The Company's home health aides must pass
certain competency tests and are supervised by
registered nurses.

Durable
Medical Equipment: As part of the client's plan of care, the
physician may prescribe the use of various type of
medical equipment in the home. The company will arrange
for the needed equipment to be supplied to the client by
making the appropriate referrals to the area DME
providers as the client requests.

& Family Education: Home
care professionals help the client and family members
better understand the treatment plan and how they can
participate in treatment.
